Top 5: Places in Poeta

Poeta is full of really fun places -- even ones that aren't Cliona Lake (flying ghost fish are pretty awesome, however). I've tried my best to check out all parts of the zone and here's what I've found to be my top 5 favorite places to hang around and just take in the scenery:

5. Nymph's Pond - Home of my new favorite named evil NPC Seirenia. I'm not really sure whats up with our new friend, except that she did NOT like it when I came over and said "Hello". Nevertheless, the Nymph's Pond is very pretty and sports a great waterfall. Also, Seirenia's clothes are stationed atop a rock next to her, anyone know whats up with that?

4. Worg Run and Scar's Den - Here's a neat little place off the beaten path. So far, it has only appeared as part of the Deliver Pernos his Robe quest, but it is definitely a neat bypass-able part of the game. Scar has a neat character model and the den is very pretty, with all its giant thorns.

3. Ruins in Daminu Forest - Another bypass-able area, this one doesn't even get its own mini-zone however. We see some massive parts of an ancient structure, and some smaller pieces strewn about. The trees like to sleep in here for the Waking of the Eldin quest, and its easy to get to from the main road.
2. Kabarah Strip Mine Area - Okay, so mostly its actually pretty ugly. Then again, the point of a strip mine is to be efficient, not scenic. Aion captures this industrial "I hate the earth and that forest you just killed stuff in for the last hour, which was very pretty" feel. But, go check out the back side of the strip mine -- there are little pockets of miners with some fun scenery and props lying about, and the backdrop, that very large wall with scaffolds really is a sight to see. Plus, everyone's favorite porgus (has anyone seen Tutty lately?) is here too.

1. Cliona Lake - Paradise in Elysia. The ghost fish, 2 docks, some quests, lots of flora and fauna, and a small central island, perfect for sunbathing and people watching. Now, the quests aren't particularly exciting, just the usual run-of-the-mill "Go kill X of Y for me!" type things, but its so pretty I didn't mind. I hope to make a Cliona Lake post at some point, because I think there's a whole lot of different details to see here.
